Edgeabilities
I could not resist this post. Fond Memories in Walnut Grove received their shipment of the new Spellbinders yesterday. I have been planning for this purchase of all of the new Edgeabilities so just had to share. You will be seeing a lot of cards with this in the future right here on my blog. A few of the cards at the Fond Memories fall workshop (Sept 24.) will use these too. If you have not signed up for this go over to the Fond Memories site linked on the left of this blog for more information. They fit really nice in the Quickutz folders for storage.

Bella Rose Wedding
This card was inspired by one we saw at CHA created by Heartfelt Creations. Heartfelt stamps Bella Rose Wedding and Shabby Chic lace were used for this. Bazzill papers (brown and teal) were used and glimmer brown ( company unknown). Both the Shabby Lace and the ring image were embossed. The embossing was done with a Versa Mark stamped image and Ranger Copper embossing powder. A Spellbinder heart and Parisian accents were used along with Hero Arts and Amuse pearls. The ribbon is from May Arts. Hope you enjoy

Blizzard in August
JustRite Friday Challenge #056 is a shaped holiday card or tag with a twist. (edit: This is an honorable win in the challenge 056). This can not be the traditional rectangle or square. I decided to make a tag into a card. The base of this is a Spellbinder Grand Labels 4. I used two sizes and mounted my tag on this. The tag is 3.25 in width with rounded corners. The bottom has a Spellbinder Fleur. Spellbinder mittens was used and distressed. A snowman from the Blizzard Bunch is the focus of the card. Flower soft with glitter was added to the oval image. Lace was added to the mitten for the cuff. The sentiment again cut with a Spellbinder tag is from the Christmas mini-sentiments set. The ribbon was distressed with Antique Linen and is a four bow. Distress ink was used on the edges of the oval, mitten, and labels four edges.
