Christmas sentiment
This card may not look like it, but it is made with scraps of paper from former projects. JustRite has challenged us to make a card with our scraps. I recently went through all of my papers and removed the scraps that I tend to tuck back in. I did not have many Holiday papers. The stamped image is from JustRite "Cristmas Nested Sentiments. The scrap of red I had was from a 12 x 12 so I made three Poinsettia using the new Spellbinder die. I embossed and then distressed the veins with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I removed them from the die and added Distress Ink Aged Mahogany. I added a gem center from Kaiser Kraft that I used on a different project a few weeks ago. The leaves are a scrap and are really the flower petals. The frame is a scrap from My Minds Eye (I had left the company name on the scrap) that I used last year and then cut with the Spellbinder Labels 22. the white and red glitter paper were scraps and I do not remember the company at this time. Hope you enjoy

Winter bough
I made this card for the Joan's Garden weekly challenge. The directions are to use a die, red and white, Christmas sentiment. The Poinsettia die is from Spellbinders. Aged Mahogany distress ink was used on the veins of the flower. The center is a Candi dot from Craft Work Cards that was colored with a Copic marker and flower soft added. The Flower Soft is the snow on the card. The Merry Christmas is from JustRite and cut with a Spellbinder label. Winter bough by Penny Black was stamped on white, colored with a Copic Marker and cut with a Spellbinder labels 4 as was the red frame. The white background paper is some that was left from when we made my daughters wedding invitations four plus years ago so I do not remember the company. Hope you enjoy

Happy Birthday
I need a birthday card for a friend so I decided to make an acetate card. The picture on the left is hard to see the stamped pattern so I put black behind it for the second picture. I used Flourishes from Impression Obsession for the background stamp. The paper is from Basic Grey. The Happy Birthday is from JustRite and stamped on Basic Grey paper cut with labels 4 from Spellbinders. The bow is seam binding colored with Forest Moss Distress Stain with a colored wood button added. A fun card to make. Hope you enjoy.

Warmest Wishes
This cute little stamp is from JustRite's "Warmest Wishes set" and is an oval which I have adapted to a circle. This card is made for the sketch challenge for JustRite . The paper I selected seemed to dark so it was distressed with Ranger's Picket Fence Stain. A border edge was cut using Spellbinder Edgeabilties. The Ribbon was colored to match using Copic G99 and the Button with R 39. Ranger enamel was used on the stamped image and again in the bottom border with glitter for a little added sparkle. The Paper is from Authentique and both sides were used for the design. The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers and distressed with Antique Linen. It was then mounted on red cut with a Spellbinder Circle Beaded Pearls. I hope you enjoy this simple card.

Girlfriends
Girlfriends (Under my umbrella set) is a stamp by Art Impressions. This was a card I created for the Fond Memories fall workshop. Sorry about the protective cover on it, but I took a quick picture. Paper piecing was used on the umbrella. The paper is from Kaisercraft and both sides were used to create the card. Copic markers were used to color the girls, but you could use Prismacolor pencils. A Spellbinder Edgeability and Tag helped with the finishing touches. Flowersoft was used on the scarf. Hope you enjoy.

Window card
In some browsers this and a previous post are showing together. The card from one and the supplies from another.
This is another card I created for the Fall Fond Memories workshop. It is an acetate window card. The snowman is stamped on the inside. I took an online card class this past summer and the acetate card was one that was highlighted. Winter Wishes was stamped on the acetate which created the window. A Fiskars stamp press was used so that the pressure was even. Post It notes held the acetate down as it was being stamped. The stamped image is on the inside colored with Prismacolor pencils. Flowersoft mixed with glitter was used as the snow that the snowman sits in. I thought it would be a fun technique to share. Hope you enjoy.Supplies:

Fall Festival
This treat bag was made for the JustRite Fall Festival challenge. Using Bazzill black and Authentique "Enchanted" and a Spellbinders Grand Labels One the base to the project was cut. (After the Treat has been enjoyed the label could be used as a card to be given again. ) The stamped image is from the JustRite set "Trick or Treat" and the label from JustRite "Happy Everything Tag" set. The tag cut with a Spellbinder and distressed was attached with twine that was colored with Distress Ink "Black Soot". The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers (pictured below) and Distressed with Pumice Stone. The stamped image was cut with a Spellbinder oval and mounted on black cut with a Labels 18. A few gems by Kaiser Craft were added to finish off the topper. Using a Scor-Buddy two creases were made to fold the project in half. This was then stapled to a bag with some Cinnamon Spiced Cider and Lindor candy ball. This of course is for an adult--perhaps a secretary, para or a friend. Hope you enjoy.
