Friends Forever
Friends Forever is from the Penny Black "mimi's many loves" set. The design for this is from the Mojo Monday 221. Simon Says Stamp Challenge and The Shabby Tea Room challenges. Spellbinder Grand Circle dies were used for the base of the card which is about 4.5 inches. My Mind's Eye "Love Me" paper both front and back were used. The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers (E00, R20, R39,12, YG 61, YG 63). Antique Linen was used to distress the image and sentiment. Gem from the stash drawer were used on the end of the twine. Spellbinder Edgeabilites were used to cut the scallop edge and the heart border. A white piece of paper was mounted under this. What a great way to wish all my blog friends a "Happy New Year" Hope you enjoy.

Just for You
The main image and background are Bella Rose stamp sets (HC 3394 and HC3391) from Heartfelt Creations. The Just for You is from a JustRite stamp set. The background set was stamped with a VersaMark embossing pad and embossed with Hero Arts white powder. . This was stamped on a 4 x 5.5 piece of Kraft paper that was then distressed with both Antique Linen and Walnut Stain. This was mounted on a red 4.25 x 5.5 base. The sentiment was stamped on Kraft paper and cut with a Spellbinder tag then mounted on the red which was used for the card base. The rose was stamped on white and colored with two green (YG 93 and YG 95) and two yellow (Y06 and Y08) Copic markers. This was hand cut. A seam binding bow colored with Sage Distress Stain and a brown and white twine help finish off the card. Not a very difficult card to do. . This was made for Fond Memories and the card is on display at the store. Hope you enjoy

Snowflake greetings
Snowflake and holly is a stamp by Penny Black that I have used here before, but in a totally different look. Still working on my cards. Lucky that we have the 12 days of Christmas for me to get them all where they should go. As a little inspiration I am posting this at Joan's Garden just for the fun. I would like to put a Thank You to her as I was the lucky winner last week. The card was stamped with Memento black, distressed with Antique Linen and colored with Copic YG 61 an YG 63, I added holly using the Viva Paper Pen in red to give it that 3D effect. A snowflake gem from Hero Arts and some red and white twine put some finishing touches on the card, Green and red paper from the stash finally make this a card. Very simple, which is good as I am making several. Hope you enjoy

Frosty Greetings
This cute snowman is an itty bitty by Unity (Winter Joy) and was colored with a variety of Copic Markers. The background is an Impression Obsession Snowflake background stamp that was heat embossed. Hero Arts embossing powder was used. The new Distress Evergreen Bough was used to color the background and also to distress the Merry Christmas greeting. The greeting was cut with a Spellbinder Ribbon Banner. The stamped image was cut with a Spellbinder Circle and mounted on a glitter paper by American Crafts. The whole card is mounted on the glitter paper. The ball of the hat and the snow around the snowman were created using glossy accents and Hero Arts glitter. Simple which is good as I do have to get my cards done. I also am putting this into Joan's Gardens challenge. The challenge is to make a Christmas card. Hope your enjoy.

Masculine Birthday
Everyone has that person in their family that finding the perfect card for is difficult. Not this year for me. My son-in-law is going to have a good laugh when he gets this card. A little paper-(Bazzill, Kraft, and Paper Loft-Hooked on Fishing), some glossy accents, flower soft, a couple of Copic markers (Y18 and C0), three Hero Arts-Hero Hues and the making for the card begins. The two stamps are both from DRS Designs. The glossy accents and flower soft were used to create the foam look. I did add some Distress Ink around the edges to put a finish to them.
What a simple card. Fun to make. Hope you will enjoy.

Merry Christmas Tag
Joan's Garden is sponsoring a tag challenge this week. My tag is simple to make. A tag was embossed using Hero Arts embossing powder and an Impression Obsession Snowflakes background stamp. A small amount of Distress Antique Linen was used followed by Distress Ink Evergreen Bough. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set and stamped in black. A Spellbinder poinsettia was cut, dry embossed and distressed with the Evergreen Bough. A Candi dot from Craftworkcards was colored and completed the flower. Seam binding was distressed for color and a ribbon from the stash pile finished off the tag. Very simple and this was fun to make.
Hope you enjoy
