At some point everyone needs a 25th anniversary card. Jillian Vance Designs has a stamp set "Anniversary Blessings" that allows us to make those special card. Using Versa Mark the sentiment was stamped on black and heat embossed in white. The embossed image was then cut with a Spellbinder Grommet Tag die. The floral stamp is new from JustRite "Poppies" was colored with Copic R24 and YG 93, then cut with a Spellbinder oval. The cut image was distressed with Antique Linen and mounted on a black cut with Spellbinder Floral Ovals. The card is a 6 1/4 by 4 1/2 black base with rounded corners. Graphic 45 paper and the largest Spellbinder Romantic Rectangle a decorative base was made and mounted to the black. A Black was cut to be about inch smaller than the rectangle and corners were rounded, followed by a Graphic 45 piece 1/4 inch smaller and again the corners were rounded. The Poppies were mounted and then sentiment with pearls added. A fun card to make. Hope you enjoy.
One of the most rewarding things is to share with others the works you have done.

Happy Birthday
Want a simple one layer card? Well this idea is from the Online Card Class-Clean and Simple 2. I began with watercolor paper and the stamp set "Double Birthday" from Woodware. I inked the stamp and then on scrap paper stamped it twice before doing the cardstock. Next I took blue, red and orange Derwent Inktense pencils and traced over the stamp lines. When done I took a Ranger water brush and began to spread the color out which forms the border. I did have to add the color to the brush on the edges. When done I went back over the words to brighten them. The balloon is from a Penny Black set and I used teal blue to color it from the same Derwent pencil set. Hope you enjoy

Anniversary Blessings
Anniversary Blessings is a word set from Jillian Vance Designs and was used here with WeR Memory Paper "Anthologie". The design is from the Online Card Class "Clean and Simple 2". I did notice that my ribbon banner in the picture needed to be pushed down so the tape adheres. This was distressed with Antique Linen. That has been done. I used a Spellbinder circle to cut out my frame. Both sentiments are from the same word set. The background paper is the back side of the DP. Hope you enjoy.

Triple Layering
Have those scraps and do not know what to do with them. I used this technique with a stamped image this past summer for a holiday card. Well here is one made with a 5 x 5 square piece of DP. The solid is a 5.25 square and mounted on a white card base of the same size. . I used Spellbinder Square for the inside cuts (3.5 and 2.5) I then cut my solid a quarter inch larger. You would never know that this is all from one 5x5 piece of paper. The banner was cut with a Spellbinder ribbon banner, embossed and then stamped with a sentiment from Hero Arts "It's your day". Simple and what a good way to get rid of those scraps (this may be Authentique) . Hope you enjoy

Rose Thoughts
Rose Thoughts is a stamp by Stampendous. Roses are one of my favorite flowers so I could not resist this one. The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers Y13, Y15, YG93, YG95. Solar White paper was cut to 2 x 5.25. The white paper was lightly distressed with Antique Linen. This was mounted on a scrap of Bazzill green cut 2.25 x 5.5 and then mounted on Echo Park "Dots and Stripes" The sentiment is from the same set. This is an A2 card and very simple to make. Hope you enjoy.

Garden Flower
JustRite is hosting a new sketch challenge this week (see below) so I decided to look into my older stamp sets by JustRite and picked this one from "My Garden Set". I think it was one of the first sets I purchased. To make my card I used Lacey Circles and Circles from Spellbinders and paper from Echo Park "Dots and Stripes". I colored my flower with Copic markers BG05, BG11 and E35 and then did a fussy cut. It was popped up on the green dot. The ribbon I believe is May Arts. Rather simple but can be used for any occasion. Hope you enjoy.

Valentine Flowers
I could not resist making this card when I saw the inspiration on the Memory Box blog. I used We R Memory Keepers "Love Struck" paper for the card. Using a Spellbinders heart the red with white dots was cut and placed on the base of the card. A circle was cut using Spellbinders Lacey circles. This was formed to make a tube and the flowers cut with a Memory Box "Bella Bouguet" die were inserted. I cut the flowers three times out of Bazzill bling. A twine bow encircles the pink paper with a gem from Creative Impressions "Bits of Bling" placed in the center. With love from a set by Crafters Companion "Humphrey's collection" was stamped and cut with a small Spellbinder Heart then distressed with Memento Rose Bud. A red heart from Bits of Bling was usedto finish the card. This is an A2 card. Hope you emjoy.

Your so Sweet
Kathy at Fond Memories wanted me to try using this stamp from Inky Antics "Bee Benton". Isn't he a cute little guy. I stamped the image and colored with Copic Markers. I used E31, E34 for the bear and Y38 for the honey pot. The paper is My Mind's Eye "Love Me" and a Bazzill red. Spellbinder circles were used for the cuts. The sentiment was stamped on a section of the backside of the paper. I used pop dots behind the bear for a little dimension. Of course I could not resist putting a little twine bow to finish off the card. Hope you enjoy.

Happy Birthday
Everyone needs a birthday card and that is why I made this one. Only problem a good friend has a birthday this week and my mojo is very limited. I decided to make what is really a simple card using paper from We R Memory Keepers "Love Struck" and Bazzill. The Spellbinders Majestic Marvelous Squares was used to cut layers ( and some parts were embossed) that were placed on a 5 x 5 square base. The corners were rounded on the base pieces. A tag from Spellbinders was cut and stamped with Happy Birthday and distressed with Memento Rose Bud ink. A button from Recollections was added to finish off the card. A very simple card. Hope you enjoy.
