A black and white wedding card
JustRite Friday Challenge #68 is a black and white with one other color to punch it up. I selected Copic R11 pale cherry pink as my punch color. This card was created using a Spellbinder Romantic rectangle (4 x6) as the base cut in white (the picture is taken on black to see the detail). Bo Bunny "Back to Basics" was mounted on the rectangle frame. The corners were rounded with a corner punch. Using my Copic airbrush a little color was added to the paper. A sentiment from JustRite "Wedding Nested Sentiments" was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut with a Spellbinder Floral oval and again airbrushed for color. The flowers are made from white paper, cut with a Spellbinder Bitty Blossom and airbrushed with the R11 for a touch of color. A bow was added from May Arts black sheer ribbon. A fun card to make. Hope you enjoy.
Such a classy card you made. I love the black and white with the touches of color. love the background and the sentiment too.

ReplyDeletebeautiful card, love that new die!
ReplyDeleteMary Jo your flowers are fabulous. I love just the touch of color with the bit of contrasting white showing. They glow!!
ReplyDeleteJust finished dinner/dishes and was actually thinking of you and this GORGEOUS card while doing dishes, only to find you beat me to the punch on commenting on JR's posts! I have to say STUNNING was the word that came to mind when I saw your card up close on Pinterest earlier!!! Your use of both those fabulous new dies (which I just received) and BG papers with that pop of cherry pink is awesome -- great job on your airbrushing too, Mary Jo! Lots of great entries already, so be fun to see who wins this one!!!
