OCC Clean and Simple Holiday Day 3

What a great VERY simple card to make for the Holiday.  Thank you Kristina for this card idea from the OCC Clean and Simple Holiday class Day 3.

How simple to make using painters tape, watercolor paper and watercolor paint.  This was created using Peapod from Taylored Expressions.  The paint started full strength and water added to dilute the color.  Gold bulbs were added with Nuvo gold and this was used to color a white star.  The sentiment embossed in gold is from Simon Says Stamps "Tiny words Christmas" .  Hope you enjoy!

Day 2 Clean and Simple OCC

The inspiration for this card is from Jennifer McQuire (Thank You).  What a great day of new ideas.  The paper is from a Carta Bella 6x6 paper pad.  The snowflake die is a Tim Holtz that has been cut through three layers of paper.  The small snowflake is from a set by Sizzix.  The gems are Nuvo "prickly pear" sequins and encased in tulle between two layers.   The gold embossed Merry and Bright is from a set by Memory Box " typewriter holiday sentiments?  Hope you enjoy!

Day 1 Clean and Simple Holiday

A very simple card inspired by Laurie Willson from the OCC Clean and Simple Holiday day 1 class.  I masked off with painters tape and used Distress Oxide Festive Berries to color my paper that I had cut to 4 x 5.25.  Using a stencil from Taylored Expressions and a white ink pad added snow to the inked area.  This was mounted on a paper that was colored with the Festive Berries.  The Merry is a Sizzix Die and the Christmas from a stamp set by My Favorite Things.  The leaves are from a Spellbinder die set and the berries are a Nuvo red.  Hope you enjoy.

Using the offset stencil

This card was made using the Tim Holtz Simon Says Stamps Exclusive.  Thank you to Simon Says for inspiration for this card.  The trees were created using a stencil and Distress Oxide inks.  The stencil has markings so you can align and create an offset image.  The sentiment is part of the release.  Hope you enjoy.

Alcohol Ink and Heat embossing

The background for this card was created using Alcohol Inks, Yupo paper and inks: watermelon, citrus and a gold mixative.  A stencil was cut from Yupo Translucent using a die from Our Daily Bread Designs, with Alcohol Ink Lift being used to remove the ink from the paper.  A sentiment from Penny Black was heat embossed in gold.  This is something you have to be very careful as Yupo is plastic and will melt.  Hope you enjoy
