Shellabration birthday

I need a birthday card soon and when I saw this set from Trinity Stamps called Shellabration I knew it was perfect.  The images were colored with copic markers.  The card finished is 4 by 9.  Lawn Fawn slimline dies were used to cut most of the card.  Hope you enjoy!

Special Birthday

This card uses The new speckled egg Distress Ink and Oxide to create the paper color for the leaves.  A variety of dies were used for the card.  An embossing folder lightly colored with Distress Oxide was the card base.  A piece of printed paper mounted down the center finished the base.  A touch of gold helped finish off the card. Art Impressions castle cubbies

A card made for a special little girl.  This is from Art Impressions "Castle Cubbies"  It was colored with copic markers and the clouds are from a stencil with distress ink.  Hope You enjoy!

Dry emboss with a stencil

This summer Gina K of Gina K Designs has been doing chats several nights a week.  This was a technique she showed one evening using a stencil.  The stencil (a Gina K) was embossed in my Big Shot using a rubber  embossing mat.  The next step was to use my Scor buddy and scor every 1/2 inch  Using a brown ink swipe done on the card from one side to the other and then turn and repeat from the bottom.  The new Distress Ink Speckled egg  was swiped from one side to another.  The card front was cut 4" by 5.25" .  This was mounted on a 4.25 x5.5 that was distressed with the Speckled Egg and mounted to a card base.  The sentiment was a strip cut to fit the stamped image that again was swiped with the two colors and mounted on a strip cut 1/8th inch larger and distressed.  Hope you enjoy.

Thinking of You

This card was made using a recent Simon Says Kit of the Month.  The background is made swiping the ink pad across the paper.  The image was stamp twice on two separate backgrounds so that the umbrella could be fussy cut and popped on the card.  Hope you enjoy!

White Resist

The butterflies were colored with a white prismacolor pencil to make a resist for when the ink colors were applied.  The butterfly stamp is from a SSS Kit of the month.  Hope you enjoy!

Wild Roses window

Gina of Gina K Designs has been doing a chat and make on M-W-F for the last several weeks.  Recently she showed how to make a window card.  This is my take on her idea using the Gina K Designs "Wild Roses" stamp.  This was colored with PrismaColors and Gamsol.  Hope you enjoy
