Unity Stamps: Mousing around

"Mousing around: Hiya Pal" is a new stamp set by Unity Stamps.  Steamboat Willie is no longer under copyright by Disney as it is 100 years old.  This image was colored with Copic markers and a Tim Holtz stencil was used for the rays.  Hope you enjoy!

Love believes all things

I need a card for an upcoming gift so looked in my stash of 6x6 papers and stamps to see what could be made in just a few minutes.  The card is 4.25 x 5.5 with the corners rounded.  The DP paper is from My  Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Mabel Papers pad.  The stamps are from a Unity Stamps KOM set I got earlier this year.  The ink used was Memento black.  What a simple card and so fast to make.  Hope you enjoy.

Frosty Greetings

This cute snowman is an itty bitty by Unity (Winter Joy) and was colored with a variety of Copic Markers.  The background is an Impression Obsession Snowflake background stamp that was heat embossed.  Hero Arts embossing powder was used.  The new Distress Evergreen Bough was used to color the background and also to distress the Merry Christmas greeting.  The greeting was cut with a Spellbinder Ribbon Banner.  The stamped image was cut with a Spellbinder Circle and mounted on a glitter paper by American Crafts.  The whole card is mounted on the glitter paper.  The ball of the hat and the snow around the snowman were created using glossy accents and Hero Arts glitter.  Simple which is good as I do have to get my cards done.  I also  am putting this into Joan's Gardens challenge.  The challenge is to make a Christmas card.  Hope your enjoy.

Forever Memories

Unity Stamps is hosting a sketch challenge using their Kit of the Month Stamps.  I just received the July 2011 " ...better together "  set so here is the first card I made using the new set.
The paper is new from Cosmo Cricket "Odds and Ends" scraps.  I used Spellbinder ovals to cut out my stamped set and distressed the bottom layer with Antique Linen.  Memento Tuxedo Black was used to stamp the image.  I cut the bike and pop dotted it.  I turned the sketch to the side and added a ribbon.  Hope you enjoy.

School is Cool

Oh I had some fun today.  I decided to make a little 3 x 4 notebook that can be used as a gift for a student or teacher.  At CHA we took two classes that used the Bind-it-all and of course when they offered to sell them at a great price I just had to get one.  Learning to use it may take some time.  Made some mistakes with binding this project but it still turned out.  The stamp is a new one from Unity Stamps "School is Cool" and colored yellow with a Copic marker.   The paper is from Imaginisce "Teacher's Pet-When's recess?".  The ribbon was white that I colored using green, blue and red copic markers.  So many ways that this stamp and paper can be used.  This is just a simple one.  Hope you enjoy.
