Flowers and birthday

A Cased card from Altenew stamps.  So simple to make and very quick.  The ink used was from Memento.  The card size is 5x5.  Hope you enjoy

Fun Foam Greeting

A new Online Card Class this past week was Stretching your Dies.  One of the lessons in the class was to cut Fun Foam with your die and shrink using your heat gun.  Once that has cooled it can be colored as was the happy from WPlus9 for this card.  The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers and cut using a tag, then mounted on card stock from a 6 x6 pad by Authentique.  The Birthday was stamped from the "Whole Lotta Happy" by WPlus9.  The stamp used is from Heartfelt Creations "Sunflower Bouquet".

Using the new MISTI

I broke down and ordered the new MISTI stamp press.   It arrived yesterday so had to try it out.  Stamping multiples will be very easy using this tool.  Using the Altenew "Doodle Blooms" and Copic Markers these cards were created very swiftly.  The MISTI is not available at Fond Memories yet, but they have asked about it and currently not available.

This quick and simple card uses the new Dare 2B Artzy "Totally Tracy" stamp.  It was water colored using distress ink after being stamped with Versafine on water paper.  This was mounted on a green then to white card stock.  A very simple card.  Hope you enjoy.

Quick Birthday

A fairly quick card to make is this one made using a Heartfelt Creations stamp "Natural Beauty".  The card was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and distressed with Antique Linen.  Pops of color on the bridge, tree and bird were added with Copic Markers.  A greeting from the stash bin finished the stamped image.  The paper used is a 6 x 6 paper pad from Authentique.  Twine was added to finish off the card.  Hope you enjoy.

Life is the art

This card was made using the Dare 2B Artzy tangled stamp and die set.  Watercolor paper was used on the background.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafine black and clear heat embossed.  The flower has a little hand work in it to make it complete.  Both the flower and butterfly were colored with Copic makers.  The butterfly also was enhanced with Wink of Stella glitter pen.  Hope you enjoy.

Foiled

I had to try this technique to see how easy it is.  Using a new Spellbinder die and foam adhesive the die was cut.  You remove the paper liner from one side and press the gold foil onto the adhesive and peel away.  This was then added to a card base.  With the pieces left over and red foil the image is completed.  The greeting was heat embossed using a Technique Tuesday greeting.    Hope you enjoy,

Happy Valentine

I am taking an Online Card Class "Clean and Simple 4-Techniques make simple".  This card was inspired from one on day one.  Using a background stamp it was inked with Versamark.  A masking paper was cut the size of the card base and a card cut out.  The masking was put over the card base and Ranger "Red Geranium" embossing powder was added and then heat set.  The masking was removed and white embossing added and heat set.  This was not the first attempt.  The happy was cut, stamped with Versamark and black embossing added and heat set.  This process was repeated twice to give it a dimension.  The Valentine was from an Avery Elle set stamped with Veramark on Black and white embossed.  To give it a little more detail Versamark was stamped over the whole piece and clear embossing added.  This was popped with 3M foam tape.  Fun card to make.  Hope you enjoy.

Water's Edge

Water coloring with distress markers and watercolor paper are a great combination.  The stamp set by Heartfelt Creations "Water's Edge" was stamped with Versafine black ink and water colored with Distress Markers. (Gathered Twigs, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Mustard Seed) on watercolor paper.  A fussy cut water weed and flying duck were added for more dimension.  An oval was cut into Authentique paper, flowers and gems were added.  Hope you enjoy
