Happy Retirement MOJO Monday 141

I have several retirement cards to make so I began by using the Mojo challenge for this week.  The paper is from My Mind's Eye be loved and the flower was made using Spellbinder's Sunflower dies. I could not find my retirement stamp so just used my computer.  I used Distress Ink; Old Paper on the leaf and sentiment.  Since I am bow challenged I used my Bow Easy to tie the ribbon.  The brad was in my stash and I do not remember the company.  I also used a Martha Stewart punch.   Hope you enjoy.

If you give a mouse a cookie

If you give a mouse a cookie was what my friend said when she saw this card. Of course that is a book written by Laura Numeroff, which is a favorite of many children.  When I made the card I had not thought about that, but you know he is going to want more than one.  The stamp is from Inky Antics and the Paper from graphic 45.  Spellbinder squares and circles were used for the image.  Copic markers added the color to the image. Things from my stash finished off this very simple card.  Hope you enjoy.

MOJO 139

Happy Birthday is a card made for a friend's very important birthday.  The card was designed with the MOJO 139 sketch.  Paper Loft's Back Country paper was used along with a little Distress Ink.  The flower is from Cornish Heritage Farms: Nature Silhouettes.  The Happy Birthday is from JustRite.  Of course the card could not be finished without Spellbinders,

By the Sea

I started this stamp a couple of weeks ago and could not decide what to do. The stamp is By the Sea from JustRite and the paper from Basic Grey's lime rickey: blue moon.  This paper seemed perfect for this card.  Spellbinder ovals, twine and Copic markers were used to complete the card.  Hope you enjoy.

Bride and Groom

I need a card for a bridal shower so I stamped this cute bride and groom from A Muse with Distress Ink Peeled Paint. The paper is from Bazzill and Paper Loft: Grandmas House. I used the jumbo scalloped border and circles from Spellbinder. I finished the card with two little pearls. I do not know the name of the ribbon, but it worked so well with this card. Hope you enjoy.

Enjoy a cup of coffee

Sorry for not updating my posts this past week. It has been busy with school and Mother's Day weekend. I have not had time to sit down and make something new so went into my stash and found this cute little bag to share. It was cut with my Cricut, Spellbinders were used for the circles and label. The stamps are American Art Stamp: Girlfriends and Inky Antics for the Verse. Of course I used my Copic markers for color and a little distress ink too.

Thankful for you

With Mothers Day on Sunday I decided to make a card for a very special Aunt in my Life. So very Thankful for You is from two sets by Our Craft Lounge. The sentiment is from Thankful Flourishes and the flower from Friendly Flowers. The print paper is from Graphic 45 "Wallflower". Spellbinders were used along with Hero Art pearls. Tea Dye distress ink along with Copic Markers helped make the flower. Our Craft Lounge Sparky Fluff: Real Juicy Orange was used in the center of the flower. A very simple card which I know my Aunt will enjoy.

A Scholar--using MOJO 137

The announcements are arriving so I decided to use the MOJO 137 for this week to create another graduation card. The Penny Black Slapstick "A Scholar" stamp was used and colored with Copic markers and a little glitter pen added. The paper is TPC Studio "Class Act Phrases" and Bazzill. Spellbinder squares and ovals were used to cut the shapes.

Just Because

Just Because is a challenge card made for a very good friend of mine. I used Basic Grey paper, a Making Memories brad, Just Right sentiment and a Spellbinder flower to create the card. I cut 3 sizes of the flower three times, crumbled and then used Distress Ink: Peeled Paint to finish the flower. Bazzill is the solid paper used to finish the card. Hero Arts pearls finish the flower and bottom of the card. Hope you enjoy.
