Bright and Cheery
I realize it is June and this is a Christmas card, but I am conducting classes at Fond Memories-Christmas in summer and this is one I designed for the first class This card is made using Carta Bella paper and a stamp set from Woodware. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday "Be Jolly". Copic markers YG23 and R89 were used to color the hat and scarf. The DP was cut with a Spellbinder circle. The solid was mounted on to the white cardstock. A smaller circle was used to cut off the edge of the card and the snowman was stamped so it is on the inside of the card. This is a simple card. Do hope you enjoy

tis the Season
A cute little snowman by Hero Arts along with its open Sizzix die "Snowman pair". The greeting is also from Hero Arts "Greetings for the Holiday. The snowman was stamped with Memento Black and colored with Copic markers (YR04, B0000, R46, R20). The folder is a Sizzix "Dots" that was embossed on paper longer than the folder so it could be trimmed to leave a spot to stamp the greeting. The snowman is popped, the white mounted on a red and a simple 4.25 x 5.5 card is made. Hope you enjoy.

Joy, Jolly, Peace
Joy, Jolly, Peace is inspired by the Online Card class that I recently took. This is a very simple card. I began by cutting a piece of white 2.75 inch by 3.5 inch. Next using an embossing folder by Sizzix I found a section that I wanted to emboss. The next step is to lightly brush across the embossed image with Copic BG10 and E50. Just do this lightly followed by Distress Stain Picket fence. Allow to dry and then distress the edges with Antique Linen. I made an A2 card base and rounded the corners. A 2 x 5.5 piece was cut from Kaiser "Just Believe" and adhered to the card base. I popped the embossed piece and added two snowflakes. The snowflakes were cut using an Impression Obsession die and Bazzill Bling-white. As I said before a very simple card. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks
This card is made using a Hero Arts "Art of the Card" stamp set Just Because. It was stamped on Neenah solar white and colored with Copic markers B45 (butterfly) and YR 23 (background), YR 24 (border). Since I do not have the Edge Frame die I cut it by hand. The card base is Authentique "Devoted" which is mounted on Authentique "Faithful". The back side of the Faithful was cut in a one inch strip that the stamped image was mounted on. Distress Ink " Old Paper " was used on the edges. Three pearls were colored with the YR 24 to help finish off the card. It is a simple card and I hope you enjoy.

Friends Forever
Friends Forever is from the Penny Black "mimi's many loves" set. The design for this is from the Mojo Monday 221. Simon Says Stamp Challenge and The Shabby Tea Room challenges. Spellbinder Grand Circle dies were used for the base of the card which is about 4.5 inches. My Mind's Eye "Love Me" paper both front and back were used. The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers (E00, R20, R39,12, YG 61, YG 63). Antique Linen was used to distress the image and sentiment. Gem from the stash drawer were used on the end of the twine. Spellbinder Edgeabilites were used to cut the scallop edge and the heart border. A white piece of paper was mounted under this. What a great way to wish all my blog friends a "Happy New Year" Hope you enjoy.

Snowflake greetings
Snowflake and holly is a stamp by Penny Black that I have used here before, but in a totally different look. Still working on my cards. Lucky that we have the 12 days of Christmas for me to get them all where they should go. As a little inspiration I am posting this at Joan's Garden just for the fun. I would like to put a Thank You to her as I was the lucky winner last week. The card was stamped with Memento black, distressed with Antique Linen and colored with Copic YG 61 an YG 63, I added holly using the Viva Paper Pen in red to give it that 3D effect. A snowflake gem from Hero Arts and some red and white twine put some finishing touches on the card, Green and red paper from the stash finally make this a card. Very simple, which is good as I am making several. Hope you enjoy

Masculine Birthday
Everyone has that person in their family that finding the perfect card for is difficult. Not this year for me. My son-in-law is going to have a good laugh when he gets this card. A little paper-(Bazzill, Kraft, and Paper Loft-Hooked on Fishing), some glossy accents, flower soft, a couple of Copic markers (Y18 and C0), three Hero Arts-Hero Hues and the making for the card begins. The two stamps are both from DRS Designs. The glossy accents and flower soft were used to create the foam look. I did add some Distress Ink around the edges to put a finish to them.
What a simple card. Fun to make. Hope you will enjoy.

Betsy Bluebell
Betsy Bluebell is a stamp by Penny Black. I wanted this to be a simple card that can be used for a friends birthday. The image was stamped and then colored with Copic Markers. I then cut it out with a Spellbinder oval and edged with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. This was mounted on a cream paper cut with oval scallops and it too was distressed. The DP for this card is Chilled Strawberry soup from Jillibean. A tag was cut with the DP from Fancy Tags Two by Spellbinder. An oval was cut from the cream and edged in Walnut Stain then stamped with a sentiment from the JustRite Happy Everything set. A flower was cut from the Rose Creations by Spellbinders and a My Minds Eye brad was used for the center. Hope you enjoy

A May Arts ribbon and Amuse pearls were colored with Copic YG 95. The image was cut with a Spellbinder Labels 12. Both front and back of the DP paper by My Minds Eye "Stella and Rose" were used. A little Distress Antique Linen was used to dirty up the image paper. What a simple card. Check this and many other new Technique Tuesday Stamps out at Fond Memories in Walnut Grove. Hope you enjoy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Wishing all a year ahead with good luck and happiness.
This cute little guy colored with Copic Markers is really from the Penny Black "Bundle of Joy" set. The paper is from Graphic 45 with Kraft paper as the solid. Spellbinder Lacey Squares were used to highlight the image. The blanket was dotted with a soft towel and blender ink to get a textured look. The sentiment is a stamp from Amuse cut with a Spellbinder label. Gems and pearls finish off the card. Hope you enjoy.

Ellie Time
Time to switch gears and think of different types of cards to make. So here goes with a very simple little Valentine card. The stamp set is Ellie Time from JustRite while the paper is from My Minds Eye. I had tried a background using my new Copic ABS with the elephant but it didn't work out the way I wanted so this is what I ended up with. I colored the elephant and mouse with Copic Markers. The elephant was cut out and placed on the CS. His vest was highlighted with a glitter pen. The hearts are from Hero Arts and the ribbon is from May Arts. A Spellbinder oval was used with the mouse stamp and Distress Antique Linen finished off the image. Hope you enjoy.

Warm Cocoa Greeting
Using the Hero Arts Cozy Moments stamp set I made this little box to hold a packet or two of cocoa. A Spellbinders die was used to frame the cup. I used my scor pal (edit: think it was at 4.5, 1.5, 4.5 and what is left is the flap on a 12 inch paper--width is your choice). Cut a strip of paper to go around again using the scor pal to make a sharp corner, put some cocoa in, seal it and a cute gift is made. This can be made or any time. I colored the image with Copic markers and used distress ink on it too.

Christmas Time Tree
A quick card using a Hero Arts stamp from my stash colored with copic markers. Add some stickles to the star and gems using the iRock from Imaginisce. The paper is from My Minds Eye (if you notice I kind of used this on several cards posted here). The sentiment is from JustRite using one of their new Spellbinder dies to make the tag. The paper was cut using the Grand Calibur and the nesties that go with it. Hope you enjoy. Happy Holiday
