In September our LSS had a very large workshop that I help with. I needed to make some samples using a stamp that was being used at one of my tables so I may a little foggy on what I used. The Stamp is a Memory Box that was stamped with Versafine Black and clear embossed. This was then cut with a Spellbinder circle and distressed with two colors (Mustard Seed being the yellow I want to say Bundled Sage for the second color). I added a clear stickles to the stamped image. Using a Spellbinder tag for the sentiment I tried to give the illusion it was a globe. The DP I believe is from Bazzill's Christmas line. The sentiment is from my stash so not remembering it. This is an A2 card Hope you enjoy.
One of the most rewarding things is to share with others the works you have done.

Your so Sweet
Kathy at Fond Memories wanted me to try using this stamp from Inky Antics "Bee Benton". Isn't he a cute little guy. I stamped the image and colored with Copic Markers. I used E31, E34 for the bear and Y38 for the honey pot. The paper is My Mind's Eye "Love Me" and a Bazzill red. Spellbinder circles were used for the cuts. The sentiment was stamped on a section of the backside of the paper. I used pop dots behind the bear for a little dimension. Of course I could not resist putting a little twine bow to finish off the card. Hope you enjoy.

Joy, Jolly, Peace
Joy, Jolly, Peace is inspired by the Online Card class that I recently took. This is a very simple card. I began by cutting a piece of white 2.75 inch by 3.5 inch. Next using an embossing folder by Sizzix I found a section that I wanted to emboss. The next step is to lightly brush across the embossed image with Copic BG10 and E50. Just do this lightly followed by Distress Stain Picket fence. Allow to dry and then distress the edges with Antique Linen. I made an A2 card base and rounded the corners. A 2 x 5.5 piece was cut from Kaiser "Just Believe" and adhered to the card base. I popped the embossed piece and added two snowflakes. The snowflakes were cut using an Impression Obsession die and Bazzill Bling-white. As I said before a very simple card. Hope you enjoy.

Petal Party
It National Card Making Day and I just had to make something to share here and in the Penny Black blog gallery. This card is made with the Penny Black Wall paper print background stamped in Rich Cocoa, distressed with Rusty Hinge and cut 2 3/4 by 5.25. It was then placed on Kraft paper cut to 4.25 x 5.5 with a brown ribbon separating the two paper. A Bazzill orange was cut to 3 x3 square with the corners rounded. A Bazzill brown was cut with a circle Spellbinder and embossed with a Sizzix folder. The flowers were stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with white followed with Rusty Hinge distress. The flowers were hand cut. The sentiment was stamped on Kraft and edged with the rusty hinge. Hope you enjoy

Gatefold card
This card which I designed for the fall workshop at Fond Memories was inspired by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace during the summer Spellbinder release. I have included the full direction on making this gatefold card. The hardest part is taking the time to make all of the cuts. Hope you enjoy.
Supplies:
Supplies:
Bazzill Kraft paper (cut 6x12)
(square cut 4.5 x 4.5)
Bazzill Teal
(cut 4.75 x 4.75) (center
will be used to cut 2 5/8 square)
Bazzill Cream
(cut 3 x 6) and (3.75 x 3.75) and a scrap for filigree

Garden Lattice M-Bossabilities Folder
Ranger
Distress Antique Linen
Kaiser
and Hero Arts Pearl Gems
Pop
Dots or 3M tape
1. Take your 6 x 12 Kraft paper and score
at 3 inches and 9 inches to form a 6 x 6 base
2. With the 3 x 6 Cream emboss with the
Garden Lattice and distress with Antique Linen (optional). Attach this to the right front side
3. Cut the Teal 4.75 square and Kraft 4.5
square. Using Spellbinder
Marvelous Square #6 (largest) align so the Teal forms a border around the Kraft
square. Use a repositionable tape
over the dies and paper in order to cut both at the same time. Adhere the Kraft to the teal. Apply tape to the left side, top edge
and bottom edge for about 2
inches. Adhere to the card base on
the left.
4. Cut the 3.5 Cream square with Die # 5 with the decorative edge. Apply
tape to the right side, and adhere to the right side of the card. Place a Kaiser Craft gem in each corner.
5. With the teal left from the center of
the card cut Die #4 (2 5/8 square) centering it. Follow this by embossing with Die # 3 (2.25 square). Adhere this to the Cream center using
pop dots. The left over Teal can
be used in the center of the card to frame a sentiment.
6. Cut the flower from cream with the
Memory Box Die. Pop dot this to
the teal. Add the Hero Arts Gem
7. With scraps of Cream cut the #3 die for
the filigree. Place one in the
upper left corner and the other in the lower right. Add a pearl gem.

Winter Scene
I made this for the July Christmas in Summer card class that I have been teaching at Fond Memories. Winter Scene is a stamp by Hero Arts. The Sentiment is from JustRite. The ink used was Memento Rich Cocoa and Ranger Archival black. This triple layered card is a 5 x 7 but could be made smaller. The paper are cut with each 1/2 inch smaller than the layer it sits on for this card. All of the cream colored were layered and stamped at one time. The Bazzill green was used as a base. The card was assembled by matching up the image. It looks complicated, but is rather simple. This is a You Tube video on how to do this technique: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmculp_tz74. Hope you enjoy. (Sorry about the picture quality)

Let it snow??
I have not had the time to create this past week so will share a card I played with when I first got this new Spellbinder Tree die. The card was inspired by one in the summer new release blog hop by Spellbinders. The sentiment is from JustRite and cut with a Spellbinder Ribbon die. The embossing folder is one I have had and is a Sizzix. Sorry about the lighting. The corners were punched for a little extra effect. Pearl gems finish off the tree which was cut from Bazzill paper. I will try this same die using other effects which in time you will see here. I was working on my August Christmas card class ideas when I made this, but it will not be used. I am putting this in my stash of cards for the holiday season. Hope you enjoy

A simple card
This is what I call a simple, but not clean card. It is on the flat side as nothing has been pop dotted. The card was stamped with Hero Arts "border messages" on white paper. This was distressed with Antique Linen and mounted on a Bazzill blue. The main card is a paper by Bazzill that you can sand. This was mounted on the blue. In a few minutes a very simple card. I have a purpose for this being simple. I need to make several in the next few days. This being in a tan is more masculine. I plan to make a couple in shades of green to be more feminine. Hope you enjoy.

Window card
In some browsers this and a previous post are showing together. The card from one and the supplies from another.
This is another card I created for the Fall Fond Memories workshop. It is an acetate window card. The snowman is stamped on the inside. I took an online card class this past summer and the acetate card was one that was highlighted. Winter Wishes was stamped on the acetate which created the window. A Fiskars stamp press was used so that the pressure was even. Post It notes held the acetate down as it was being stamped. The stamped image is on the inside colored with Prismacolor pencils. Flowersoft mixed with glitter was used as the snow that the snowman sits in. I thought it would be a fun technique to share. Hope you enjoy.Supplies:

snowflake and holly
Snowflake and Holly is by Penny Black. This card was stamped on Neenah cardstock with Memento black ink. Two shades of green copic markers and a dark red were used to color it. A Perfect Pearl water was misted at the end. The paper was distressed with Antique Linen and a distress tool used on the edges. A twine ribbon with a pearl colored red was placed on the snowflake that was highlighted with Clear Star gelly roll pen. This was all mounted on burgandy Bazzill paper. A very simple card. Hope you enjoy

Explosion Box
Hopefully from the picture you can see I had to to scor at the 4 inch marks and then at a diagonal on the corners so the 12 x 12 will fold into a box shape. The top was cut as a 6 1/8 square and scored at one inch on all four sides to make the lid slightly larger than the box. I used Scor Tape to assemble this project.
TOP: Stamp sets that were used for the top of the box are from JustRite: You Inspire Me stamped and edged with Memento Rich Cocoa and cut with Spellbinder circles. I stamped JustRite's Happy Everything Tag kit "Happy Valentines Day" and cut it with the tag from the set. I created a cream border on the edge of the top with the Martha Stewart punch.
Have to say this was a fun project and I hope you enjoy.
