Simple Mojo 145

Have you had a moment when you did not like what you did.  Well I still am unsure, but made a small change to my mojo.  I am sharing both with you.  The card on the top was my first post and the
one on the left has a minor change.

This simple Happy Birthday Card was made for the Mojo 145 Challenge.  I have to say I did not do a lot of thinking.  I got my Cricut out and let it do the work for me.  I found some My Mind's Eye paper and a little sentiment from JustRite to put everything together.  Hope you enjoy

Celebrate

For the JustRite Friday Challenge # 24.  To make this card we were to use Red, White and Blue paper and oval sets from JustRite.  So I used JustRite's all Occasion Nested Sentiments stamping it on a strip of white  and the Breath of Spring oval to make this fun little card.  The layout made it simple to assemble using Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety Sunday picnic paper along with Bazzill white and dark blue.  I stamped the flowers with Momento Black and colored with Copic Markers.    I cut the flower with a Spellbinder oval and foam mounted on the  border that was cut with an oval too.  I  mounted these on a Spellbinder scallop oval.  A little gemstone by Hero Arts added a center to the flowers.  A glimmer pen added a little shimmer to the border and ribbon on the flowers.  From my stash  ribbon was added to the strip created with a  Martha Stewart punch  to finish out this card.  Perhaps it can be for the Fourth of July, a birthday or other special occasion.  Hope you enjoy my multi-purpose card.

Country Girl

Country Girl is a Sarah Kay stamp by Stampavie.  I made this card  for  That's Krafty Thursday #31 Challenge.  I learned about this when I checked a friend's blog.  Posting to the TKT posed a few challenges, but I finally made it-twice.  This cute little girl was colored with Copic markers then mounted on Kraft paper.  I then used Cosmo Cricket-- DeLirious and mounted that on Kraft paper.  The sentiment by A Muse was stamped on Kraft paper as well.  The image and mat were cut with a label by Spellbinders.  Hope you enjoy

Happy Birthday: Mojo Monday 144

This little puppy is a stamp that I have had for sometime and part of a set from Stampin'Up.  I was making a card for my granddaughter to give her Uncle for his birthday, so the Mojo challenge made the design work a snap.  The paper is from Cloud 9 , the ink is Memento and the sentiment is from A Muse.  So simple, but fun.  Hope you enjoy.

Route 66

Route 66 is a stamp set by Artistic Outpost.  To create this card I stamped the motorcycle with Momento Rich Cocoa and then used masking so that I could add the gas pump.  Doesn't it look like the bike is sitting in front of the pump.  I then used Distress Ink, Rusty Hinge and Tea Dye to put color to my paper.  I added a Copic blue to the gas tank on the bike and the light and gas tank have a little glitter pen added.  The sentiment is from JustRite's new Birthday Sentiment set.  The paper is from Paper Loft "Old Towne Tavern".  I did add a silver peel off from Magenta to the pump and on the exhaust pipe of the bike.  A little ribbon finished off the card.  Hope you enjoy.

Flowers for you

Mojo Monday143 challenge.

These cute flowers are from the Spring set by JustRite.  I used My Mind's Eye--Mary Mary "Best of Friends' paper and added a few little pearls from my stash.  I struggled with the three little tags on what I should do with them until I found my little pearls.  Hope you enjoy.

Greetings from the Prairie

This Cornish Heritage Farm Scene It: From the Homestead is the perfect card if you are going to visit Walnut Grove and send a greeting.  Our local stamping and scrapbook store Fond Memories has this set and others that fit that pioneer period plus the perfect papers to use when making your cards.  I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink and October Afternoon paper when creating this simple little card. Oh I can not forget that I used Copic Markers for the little bit of color I added. By the way Walnut Grove is the childhood home of Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Love Is....MOJO Monday 142

This Mojo sketch was perfect for this card which was made for an upcoming wedding.  A few weeks ago I  cut a white paper flower by hand not sure what I wanted to do with it.   I decided to use Distress Black Soot on the flower and sprayed it with  Pearl Glimmer Mist.  The brad holding the flower together is from American Crafts while the paper is My Mind's Eye "Meadow Lark".  The stamp for the verse is from the Stamp Barn. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the lace work.  I hope you enjoy

Irises

This card is an experiment in stamping on print paper.  I used  Penny Black slapstick "Irises" and Verses Rubber Stamps "Birthday Warmth"on American Crafts "I Do" paper.  Spellbinder large scallops are in the background.  I made the bow with my Bow Easy and Marvy markers for the color. Hope you enjoy.
