Thank You

This card was created for the On-line Summer Card Camp.  I had the perfect paper for the color selection (yellow, orange, red, and two shades of green)  and just could not decide how to make a card from it.  I just did not have the right stamp for this card so decided to make a simple Thank You card.  My mind is still working on something a little more detailed.  I had Cosmo Cricket paper in a 6 x 6 pad that had the perfect color combo as you can see from the color sample to the right.  A Spellbinder labels 6 was used for the Thank You ( a stamp from CTMH).  The solid red is a Bazzill and I traced around the die used to stamp the Thank You.  The ribbon is from May Arts and I made it a three bow.  The little button in the center is the tomato from the paper with glossy accents on it.  You can see a close up below.  Very simple.  Hope you enjoy.
SUPPLIES:

Paper:  Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill
Stamp:  Close to My Heart
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Glossy Accents and Spellbinder Labels 6

Friendship

There is always time for Friendship is a stamp from Hero Arts and was perfect for the purpose of this card.  The card is also being entered in The Shabby Tea Room challenge for this week.  It is an inspiration challenge from the photo to the left.   The pearls are from Kaiser while the lace is Maya Road. and a ribbon from May Arts overlays it.  The tissue paper flower was cut with a Spellbinder Large Scallop circle and then distressed with Fire Brick and Antique linen.  Each of the 3 sizes that make up the flower were cut 8 thick and a brad was used to hold them together. The gem in the center was a find in a button bag.  Spellbinder Labels 20 and Grommet tags were used for the sentiment tag.  Simple and hope you enjoy.

Heart Basket

This basket was made for Joan's Garden Summer Weekly  Challenge.  The pattern for the basket is provided.  Just hop on over to Joan's Garden and you will find the link.  I used Kraft paper which I then stamped a JustRite Butterfly Garden.  I decided to use my Prisma Pencils to color this.  The ribbon for the edging and bows are from May Arts.  The pink pearls are from Amuse that I used on the edge of both the front and back.  The three flowers by the sentiment (from the same JustRite stamp set) were colored with a Copic Marker and are from Maya Road.  The flower and handle are from My Mind's Eye "Stella and Rose".  The handle was punch with a Martha heart border punch. I scored the flower at 1/4 inch with my Scor Buddy and accordian folded it.  The brad is one I purchased from CTMH.

Hoppy Birthday

This card is made using Technique Tuesday's "Ribbit" stamp.  Isn't this little frog just the cutest.  He was stamped using Memento Pear Tart and his eyes were colored with a Copic black.  A May Arts ribbon and Amuse pearls were colored with Copic YG 95.  The image was cut with a Spellbinder Labels 12.  Both front and back of the DP paper by My Minds Eye "Stella and Rose" were used. A little Distress Antique Linen was used to dirty up the image paper.  What a simple card.  Check this and many other new Technique Tuesday Stamps out at Fond Memories in Walnut Grove.  Hope you enjoy.

With Sympathy

This card was made for a friend to give.  We have a co-worker that has suffered a double loss this past week.  The card was made using JustRite's Sympathy Nested Sentiments. The sentiment was cut using Spellbinder rectangles.  The paper is from My Mind'e Eye "Holly Jolly" line showing xmas paper has more than just a holiday purpose.  The gems were what was left from an earlier project and the ribbon is May Arts.  Hope you enjoy.

Love is in the air

JustRite Friday Challenge 047: Love Is In The Air! (here) .

JustRite along with Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is sponsoring this weeks challenge "Love is in the Air".  For this project I decided to create a box that I could fill with candy kisses. A nice little Valentine gift for a loved one or perhaps an anniversary or just a " I love you" any occasion gift.  The box is six inches tall and a 2 inch square  I used the Scor Pal to scor the edges.. (scor at 2, 4, 6, 8 and cut at 8 1/2)The lid was cut at 4 1/8th and scored one inch around so that it would fit over the box.  A label was stamped with Always & Forever from the JustRite Wedding Nested sentiments in  Memento Rich Cocoa and cut with Spellbinders Labels 13.  Amuse Chocolate Pretty Pearls frame the sentiment.  This was mounted on the back side of the DP.  Both the pink and brown  ribbon are from May Arts.  The brown bow is a double bow and was tied on the Bow Easy.  The pink roses are made with wired ribbon and created for this project.  The larger bow is mounted on a label cut with Spellbinders scallop and mounted on the lid.  The brown solid paper is Bazzill and the DP is from My Mind's Eye "Lost & Found--Pretty Polka Paper".   Hope you enjoy

Vintage Christmas

The JustRite Challenge 044 is a color challenge sponsored by Spellbinders.  The colors are Navy, Gold and Rust.  The paper I selected is from Graphic 45 and highlights these colors.  A solid from Bazzill helps finish off the card.  A toy soldier from the JustRite Vintage Christmas set is colored using Copic Markers E08, Y21, B97 which are the challenge colors plus CO, C3, C5, E00 and Spica Gold.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Nested Sentiments by JustRite. The ribbon was a May Arts white which I colored using Copic E08 to get the right color to correspond with my card.   Spellbinder circles, large scallop circles and a tag helped finish off the card.  Hope you enjoy.  (edit:  Thank you JustRite for selecting this card as the Challenge 044 winner)

Groovy Snow Person

I really like this set of stamps from JustRite as you can see.  I plan to use it for several of my holiday cards.  This one was made with a little challenge from a friend to incorporate a doily into the card.  I did this by painting glitter glue on it which is hard to see in this picture.  The paper is from Graphic 45, the coloring is Copic of course and Spellbinders for the cuts.  I think the ribbon is by May Arts.  Hope you enjoy
