This is a double slider card. I searched Pinterest for a double slider and was able to find the directions. To make the slider a piece of plastic bag is used. The card begin with a 6 inch x 12 inch paper that is scored at 3 3/4, 7 3/4 and 11 /3/4. The card front 4 x 6 was stamped with an Altnew stamp set using Altnew Red Cosmos ink. A Sassy Sweet sentiment was used on the inside. The gold tape on the edge was created with score tape and gold heat emboss. An idea I saw on the Heat Wave Online Card Class/ Hope you enjoy.
One of the most rewarding things is to share with others the works you have done.

Flower Gala
This card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire in the Online Card Class "Clear and Sheer". The top layer of the card is vellum which has been colored with red, yellow, orange, green and blue inks that are rubbed on and then heat set. (The picture was taken on a black mat) The flower is from Penny Black "Flower gala" and white embossed. The sentiment strip is cut with an Avery Elle die and the sentiment stamped in Versafine Black. Pearl gems by Kaiser were added to finish off the front. The vellum was a 4.25 by 8.5 piece scored at 5.5 creating a top fold card. The 3 inch flap left was sandwiched between two pieces of white card stock to finish off the card. Hope you enjoy.
Happy Mother's Day
I made this card following an example on the new Online Card Class "Clear and Sheer". It highlights how to use vellum. My background was water colored and then a leaf die from my stash was used to cut out the image. The die cut image was then adhered to the card base. I stamped the sentiment on heavy vellum with Versafine black, then clear embossed and attached it on the back of the card panel. Hope you enjoy.

Sentiment stamp: JustRite “Sweet Flowers & Vines”
Paper: Cardbase:
Orange “Tangy” 5.5. x 8.5 (folded
for 4.25 x 5.5. card)
Watercolor 4.25 x 5.5, scrap 2 x3, watercolor or other white .5 x 2.5
Ink:
Versafine
Black to stamp Poppy and Sentiment
Distress
Inks to paint flower
Flowers: Fired brick, Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Walnut
Stain
Leaves: Bundled sage, Peeled Paint
Background: Tumbled Glass
Accessories:
Distress
Glitter-Brushed Corduroy
Paint Brush
Twine
Hole punch
Adhesive
such as Matte Medium
Stamp the Poppy Stamp on Watercolor paper with Black
Versafine. With the scrap watercolor
paper stamp the large flower. Let dry
for a few minutes
Paint the flowers using the Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge and
Wild Honey. Walnut Stain is used for the
flower center.
HINT: When doing watercolor
you can add water to an area and then add your color.
HINT: When coloring paint
one area and then go to another so not working next to a wet area.
HINT: Use two jars of
water-one for clean and one for dirty so you are not mixing colors,
Cut the flower painted on the scrap by hand and using 3M dimension
tape place over the same flower on the card.
Paint the leaves using the Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint. Add the Walnut Stain to the flower
center. Add Matte Medium to the center
followed by the Distress Glitter
Paint the background area using the Tumbled Glass. If you wet an area and follow with the
distress ink you can move the color around.
Wrap the twine around the watercolor paper and tie with a
knot. Do not trim yet. Stamp the
sentiment, punch a whole and add to the twine before tying a bow. Adhere to the watercolor image to the cardbase.
