Life is the art

This card was made using the Dare 2B Artzy tangled stamp and die set.  Watercolor paper was used on the background.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafine black and clear heat embossed.  The flower has a little hand work in it to make it complete.  Both the flower and butterfly were colored with Copic makers.  The butterfly also was enhanced with Wink of Stella glitter pen.  Hope you enjoy.

Foiled

I had to try this technique to see how easy it is.  Using a new Spellbinder die and foam adhesive the die was cut.  You remove the paper liner from one side and press the gold foil onto the adhesive and peel away.  This was then added to a card base.  With the pieces left over and red foil the image is completed.  The greeting was heat embossed using a Technique Tuesday greeting.    Hope you enjoy,

Happy Valentine

I am taking an Online Card Class "Clean and Simple 4-Techniques make simple".  This card was inspired from one on day one.  Using a background stamp it was inked with Versamark.  A masking paper was cut the size of the card base and a card cut out.  The masking was put over the card base and Ranger "Red Geranium" embossing powder was added and then heat set.  The masking was removed and white embossing added and heat set.  This was not the first attempt.  The happy was cut, stamped with Versamark and black embossing added and heat set.  This process was repeated twice to give it a dimension.  The Valentine was from an Avery Elle set stamped with Veramark on Black and white embossed.  To give it a little more detail Versamark was stamped over the whole piece and clear embossing added.  This was popped with 3M foam tape.  Fun card to make.  Hope you enjoy.

Water's Edge

Water coloring with distress markers and watercolor paper are a great combination.  The stamp set by Heartfelt Creations "Water's Edge" was stamped with Versafine black ink and water colored with Distress Markers. (Gathered Twigs, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Mustard Seed) on watercolor paper.  A fussy cut water weed and flying duck were added for more dimension.  An oval was cut into Authentique paper, flowers and gems were added.  Hope you enjoy

Floral and Fauna

This card is made on watercolor paper using Distress Markers and WPlus 9's Floral and Fauna stamp and dies.  After wetting the image well the ink was picked up from a craft mat with a water brush.  A variety of colors were used to obtain the right effect..  The hummingbird is the only image that was die cut.  Hope you enjoy.

For you Valentine

I cased this off Pinterest so can not take full credit.  I made the envelope using a craft paper and the WeR Memory envelope punch.  It is 2 x2 in size so had to do some adjustment with the cut.  The tag is from Spellbinders and the stamp is Avery Elle, while the hearts are from Memory Box.  The paper I selected for this card is from Doodlebug.  Hope you enjoy.

Happy Greetings

It is always nice to give a Happy Greeting and Stampendous has a sentiment set with that title that works for many occasions.  The flowers are "Day in autumn" from Penny Black and white heat embossed on a Bazzil green then mounted on silver to a white card base.  The heart was cut from red mirror paper with a Memory Box die.  A few black gems were added.  Very simple so hope you enjoy.

Finished Album

The cover is finished and pages added to the Holiday Album.  Pictured below are some of the pages put into this book.

As posted previously:  The base is a Snap 6x8 with a black binder.  The die is from Memory Box and was cut in three colors of mirror paper: red, green and gold.  A Spellbinders oval was used to make the frame.  The first cut was in paper from Simple Stories DIY Christmas.  The candles were glued onto the actual cover of the album but framed in the red mirror paper.  The sentiment is Tim Holtz "Handwritten Holidays 2" was embossed in gold.  There are several other pages that go in this album but they are similar to the ones pictured.  Hope you enjoy as this was fun to make.
