Sweet and Sassy

JustRite Friday Challenge #070 -- "Pretty Papers".

This JustRite Stampers challenge is to create your own background paper.  Using the JustRite Topsy Turvy Cakes set a background was created of flowers.  Four small flowers from the set were repeated on a piece of Neenah solar white paper.  The flowers and leaves were colored with Copic Markers-RV00, YG03, Y13 and Y08.  The paper was then distressed with Antique Linen.  A green bow was added with a pearl pin.  A button holds the sentiment tag stamped from the same JustRite set and cut with a Spellbinder Floral Oval.  Distress ink was used on the tag as well. This was mounted on a card base that was distressed with Peeled Paint for a narrow green border.  A simple card.  Hope you Enjoy.

  1. I just LOVE this, Mary Jo!!! I actually wanted to do a flower BG, but really only had 2 roses to work with from JR, so not quite adequate -- LOVE yours!!! Very pretty and LOVE that green bow!

  2. Very pretty! Love the soft colors on your paper!

  3. I love big fluffy ribbons tied in gorgeous bows!! So pretty with the sentiment and button tucked in!

  4. WOW! This looks like store-bought paper! SO PRETTY! Thanks for joining in our challenge this week at JustRite Inspiration ;-)

Thank you for your comments. They are like hot cocoa in winter that makes you feel warm inside.
