It is getting to that time of year when graduation cards are needed. This simple card is made with scraps of paper, copic markers and Paper Nest Doll "Graduation Ellie" stamp. The sentiment "Cap and Gown Tradition" is from a scrap that had words on it. A hat sticker helps finishes off the card. Everything was mounted on a royal blue and then to a white card base. This is a simple card so hope you enjoy.
One of the most rewarding things is to share with others the works you have done.

Blooming Tag
It has been awhile since I colored with my Copic Markers so this was a fun card to put together. The tag is from a new set by Penny Black "Blooming Tags". The Copic markers used for this card were B00, BV01, YG93 and YG95. Distress inks Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo were used to distress the tag which was mounted on black. A hole was punched and black twine added. The next part was the card base which is made of Royal Fiber Birch, stencils (the butterflies are Memory Box and I do not remember the leaves) and the distress inks Rusty Hinge and Peeled Paint. The tag was mounted on the card base using pop dots. The sentiment is from the Penny Black set, stamped in Versafine Black and clear embossed. When the card was assemble I decided to add the butterfly and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo. This butterfly was stamped using a Taylored Expressions set "Make it amazing". The butterfly was colored with the same colors as the flower and then Wink of Stella glitter was placed all over followed with a clear emboss. Several steps to complete, but a fun card to make. Hope you enjoy

Valentine's Day
The card started with a 4.25 x 11 paper that was scored at 5.5 to make a top fold. A corner rounder was used to cut all of the bottom corners in each layer. A piece of DP from American Crafts was cut to 3.5 by 5 and mounted on the card base. Another piece of white was cut to 3.5 x 4.75 to make the top layer and the bottom corners. The sentiment from Avery Elle was stamped and then clear embossed. Washi tape was placed in the upper right with three gems. Red Hearts purchased by the yard were cut apart and placed on the card using glossy accents. The top layer was popped on the card. Hope you enjoy.

Lots of Love
Lots of Love is the name of the stamp set used from Avery Elle for this card. A very simple card using heart dies cut random on the card top and outlined with a black marker. The sentiment was stamped using a black ink. This was then popped up on a 4.25 x 5.5 card base made using paper from American Crafts. A few pink pearl gems from the stash finish off this card. Very simple. Hope you enjoy.

Another birthday card
Want a fast and simple card well this is it. Jennifer McGuire is the inspiration from a bonus on the Online Card class "Stenciled". My take on the card was to distress the stencil using Broken China and Peeled paint. The stencil is from Hero Arts "Lg Lotus" which was put at an angle. The sentiment was stamped using the distressed image as a guide using Hero Arts "Enjoy Today". The stamped image was put on the card stock and trimmed, then edged with scraps and mounted on the card base. Quick and simple. Hope you enjoy.

Texture and Dimension with Pastes-Stenciled
Day 3 of the Online Card Class: Stenciled uses texture and dimension to complete a card. I do not have a tweed stencil so again using the Silhouette a stencil was created. This card is a top fold and is 3.5 by 5 finished size. The top layer is 3.4 by 4.75 and has been popped up. Picked Raspberry distress ink was used in the lower left corner of the card and on the butterfly that was cut with a Spellbinder die. The butterfly was inked with the distress ink and then dry embossed. Molding paste was used to with the tweed stencil to create the background. Other supplies used included a leaf die from Memory Box, gems from Bo Bunny and a sentiment stamp from Impression Obsession. Hope you enjoy
