I am sharing a tag made at a CHA make-n-take highlighting new Tim Holtz products. The wreath on top was white and using the new Dylusions sprays it was turned green. The tinsel at the bottom is also a new product, but better is the mirror product that "JOY" was cut from. You really can see yourself in this product. This was a fun project to do and glad I can share it with you.
One of the most rewarding things is to share with others the works you have done.

Two scoops or One?
My Sheri Crafts is hosting a challenge this month to honor National Ice Cream month. I just had to make a card and this one was super simple to do. I also placed it in the Oozak bright color challenge. The project began with "Summer Day's 6x6 paper pad from Echo Park and a stamp set from Unity Stamps-Kit of the Month July 2011. A little Memento Tuxedo Black ink and a few Copic Markers (R22, V09, B12, YR12, G24). Martha Stewart glitter was added to the pendant and on the cone. A Spellbinder circle was used as the mat for the ice cream cone. As I said a pretty simple card. Hope you enjoy.

Tag "You're It"
The JustRite Friday Challenge #077 is to create a custom tag or use a tag in your project. I choose to make a tag for this project. The stamps used for this project are the JustRite 'Noel Xmas Ornament" and JustRite "Snowfall Background Stamp". Both of these are new summer released and will be lots of fun to work with. I used a new color from Memento to stamp the tag "Teal Zeal". The Ornament was stamped, then distressed with Antique Linen and finally cut with a Spellbinder die. A small piece of Authentique music paper was used in the center. On the tag the swirls and snowflakes were highlighted with a silver pen. Small clear gems from Bo Bunny highlight the snowflakes. On the ornament the silver pen was used again but the gems are Crystal Candy dots by Pebbles. A bow was added and then a snowflake was cut from American Crafts white with the new Spellbinder "Create-a-flake four" die. A Pebbles dot finishes off the the snowflake. The tag used is from Ranger "Inkssentials". Hope you enjoy.

Tag Book
We are back from CHA and time to plan how to use all of the new products coming. I attended a Ranger workshop that was so much fun I want to share. One of the projects ( a tag book) was taught by Dyan Reaveley using several of the new Ranger products. The tags used are new in size from the Tim Holtz Inkssentials line (6' by 12"). We used the Dylusions Ink Sprays, stamps sets and stencils to make the book. A Faucet knob is handle for the book. I will be offering a class at Fond Memories to make this project. Watch their emails and blog for more information.

CHA Chicago 2012
.
This is the third and final day of the Crafters Home and Association Trade show in Chicago. Doreen and I have been here since Saturday learning about new products and techniques to share with our friends at Fond Memories and on our blogs. I will be offering a tag book workshop using new Ranger products in the near future. We went to a sticker class by SMR and Doreen will be offering a class on this technique I had a chance to speak with Becca of Amazing Paper Grace about one her projects using the new marvelous majestic squares by Spellbinders. We will be using that in the fall workshop. We have been busy looking and purchasing some of really fun new products and paper. Now the problem--the wait for them to arrive. Stop in at Fond Memories to learn more about what is coming.

Thank You
For the next week I will have little time to create as we are CHA bound. Well I will be creating, but I will be learning. We are going to be in several workshops before the show begins then look for new products for Fond Memories. I will be sharing some cards that I made sometime ago for a variety of reasons. If I have a chance I will give you an update from CHA.
This card was made using a Sizzix folder distressed with Antique Linen. I believe my stamp is from Penny Black (made this back in April) that was cut with a Spellbinder oval and distressed. Really simple to make, but yet rather fun to make. Hope you enjoy

Background Stamps
Hello. I am doing the Online Card Class--Stretch your stamps with Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner. The first day showed how to take a background stamp and the many different ways to use it. I decided to try the Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card "Ticking" stamp pictured below. I stamped it with Distress Ink "Faded Jeans" and then turned the paper and stamped it with Distress Ink "Stormy Sky". I really like the pattern it created. This was mounted on a Bazzill navy paper. The butterfly is from a Hero Arts - Sizzix set and the Sentiment is from Penny Black. Copic markers were used to color the butterfly using two shades of yellow -Y13 and Y 18 and one of blue (B32). Faded Jeans was used to distress the sentiment. This is an A2 card and was rather simple to make. Hope you enjoy. (edit: I used Memento on the butterfly and Ranger archival jet black on the sentiment.)

Love believes all things
I need a card for an upcoming gift so looked in my stash of 6x6 papers and stamps to see what could be made in just a few minutes. The card is 4.25 x 5.5 with the corners rounded. The DP paper is from My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Mabel Papers pad. The stamps are from a Unity Stamps KOM set I got earlier this year. The ink used was Memento black. What a simple card and so fast to make. Hope you enjoy.

Happy Independence Day week to Everyone
This week I wanted to create a card that would wish everyone out there a Happy "4th" of July week. Also so many challenges this week have red, white and blue, stars, stripes and tags. I have put this card in the following challenges: JustRite Stampers , My Sheri Crafts, and Joan's Garden. To make my card I began with Authentique "Glory" papers. Using my Cricut "United we Stand" the stars for this project were cut in a variety of sizes. I made sure that stripes were on the stars and then again on the paper on the inside of the card. Red, white and blue are through out the cad. The stars on the front are similar to a tag, but then a tag was added to the inside of the card as well. This is a regular A2 card with the front cut slightly smaller to allow the border to show from the inside. I also decided to have the stars appear to be going off the card. The sentiment is from JustRite Botanical Medallions set. I decided not to stop there and went to work on the inside of the card too. With this I added a stripped border and stars in red white and blue. The tag is from the JustRite mini-sentiments set. Memento ink was used for the sentiments a well as Distress Ink" Antique Linen on the tag on the inside of the card.Hope you enjoy.
