Happy Birthday

The JustRite Stampers Friday Challenge #097 is a color inspiration.

This is my take on their colors.  I used Kraft paper for my beige and distressed the medallian and ribbon with Antique Linen.  The Paper used is from Little Yellow Bicycle 6x6 "Poppies". These papers were cut using Spellbinders "Radiant Rectangles".   I thought the colors worked well with this challenge.  The stamps are from JustRite "Poppies" for the flower which was colored with Copic markers E31, YG03 and YR07 and cut with Spellbinders "Medallian Seven".   The sentiment is from the JustRite set "Cirlce of Love" and was cut with a Spellbinder tag.  The card back was cut the same as the front and a small strip attached on the left side makes the fold.  A fun card to make.  Hope you emjoy

Christmas Cheer

Everyone needs gift cards either for the Holiday or perhaps a birthday or anniversary.  This Holiday gift card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire in an online Holiday Gift Projects class.  This project was made using Penny Black stamps "Christmas Cheer" and "a cool Christmas".  The paper used was Bazzill white, Neenah solar white and Little Yellow Bicycle "Winterings".  The snowflake is from Impression Obsession and distressed with Ranger "Iced Spruce".  Copic Markers were used to color the image stamped with Memento black while the sentiment was stamped with Ranger archival black.  The copics used for this project include:  B0000, BG72, Y19, Y32, R20, E00, E31, E34, E35, C1 and N1.

Wonder and Wishes

If you are looking for a simple card that does not take long to make for the holiday this is technique works well.  This technique was demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire for the Holiday Card Boot Camp 2011.  I decided not to emboss the card as she did but used paper by Little Yellow Bicycle.  Using a Spellbinder die I cut a circle through the DP and card stock.  A tree was stamped using My Mind's Eye "Lost and Found Christmas Stamps".  Happy Holiday is from the same set and stamped on a cream by Bazzil.  The tree is attached to the stamped strip which is then attached to the card.  Hero Arts gems were used on the tree and stamped strip.  A small star brad was attached to the top of the tree.  A very simple card.  Hope you enjoy.
