Happy Valentine's Day
As it is snowing here and all schools are closed I get to play and share today. I will start with this simple little card using Spellbinder hearts, Amuse pearls, JustRite "Happy Everything Tag" and papers from Bazzill and Making Memories "Love Struck" The little heart is stamped on scrap paper and I used my Scor Pal for the lines. A double bow made with the Bow Easy and a button finish off the card. Simple to make. Hope you enjoy.

Love is in the air
JustRite Friday Challenge 047: Love Is In The Air! (here) .
JustRite along with Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is sponsoring this weeks challenge "Love is in the Air". For this project I decided to create a box that I could fill with candy kisses. A nice little Valentine gift for a loved one or perhaps an anniversary or just a " I love you" any occasion gift. The box is six inches tall and a 2 inch square I used the Scor Pal to scor the edges.. (scor at 2, 4, 6, 8 and cut at 8 1/2)The lid was cut at 4 1/8th and scored one inch around so that it would fit over the box. A label was stamped with Always & Forever from the JustRite Wedding Nested sentiments in Memento Rich Cocoa and cut with Spellbinders Labels 13. Amuse Chocolate Pretty Pearls frame the sentiment. This was mounted on the back side of the DP. Both the pink and brown ribbon are from May Arts. The brown bow is a double bow and was tied on the Bow Easy. The pink roses are made with wired ribbon and created for this project. The larger bow is mounted on a label cut with Spellbinders scallop and mounted on the lid. The brown solid paper is Bazzill and the DP is from My Mind's Eye "Lost & Found--Pretty Polka Paper". Hope you enjoy

A fabulous birthday
Sorry I haven't posted for a while. It has been pretty busy around here and I have not done anything since I made the explosion box. This card using one of JustRite's new sets "You inspire me" and was made for Fond Memories in Walnut Grove. The image was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and distressed with the same ink. Spellbinders were used to cut the image paper. We R Memory Keepers is the DP used for this card. I used both the front and back from the DP. The solid is from Bazzill. Hope you enjoy.

Explosion Box
Hopefully from the picture you can see I had to to scor at the 4 inch marks and then at a diagonal on the corners so the 12 x 12 will fold into a box shape. The top was cut as a 6 1/8 square and scored at one inch on all four sides to make the lid slightly larger than the box. I used Scor Tape to assemble this project.
TOP: Stamp sets that were used for the top of the box are from JustRite: You Inspire Me stamped and edged with Memento Rich Cocoa and cut with Spellbinder circles. I stamped JustRite's Happy Everything Tag kit "Happy Valentines Day" and cut it with the tag from the set. I created a cream border on the edge of the top with the Martha Stewart punch.
INSIDE: I used Bazzill flowers which were colored using my Copic Air Brush System , layered and attached with a brad by Bo Bunny. A tag " Be Mine" was stamped using the JustRite Myriad Pro Font set. I added little pockets on each of the sides that hold little cards that can be used for a variety of gift ideas. I used the Martha Steward punch on the pockets too.
Have to say this was a fun project and I hope you enjoy.

Love Antennae
This cute stamp is from Penny Black "Love antennae". The image was colored with Copic Markers, Distressed with Antique Linen and cut with Spellbinder Dies. A little sentiment was stamped with a stamp from my stash. The paper used is Valentine Sweetness from WeR Memory Keepers. I used one scrap of red I had and one 12 x12 sheet of patterned paper. The one sheet of paper has four different mini pages on the back allowing for a variety of papers to be used in this design. Hope you enjoy

For Baby
The real reason I purchased this set from Penny Black (Bundle of Joy) is that I have several baby cards to make. This very simple card was made using "Alphabet Soup" paper from My Mind's Eye. The squares were cut using Spellbinder squares. The tag die is a Spellbinder created for JustRite. The cute little hedgehog was colored with Copic Markers. Hope you enjoy.
